Who knows what there is gonna be
when we meet again.
Will you smile and tell the world about me?
Can there be no doubt about me,
I was your friend."

Thank you ,
its wonderful to see someone as dedicated as many others and the respect that u've show by making this tribute.

Corrine L.

My prayers and condolences go to Maurice's family and loved ones, especially Barry and Robin. One can only imagine the devastating sense of loss you must be feeling now. We watched Larry last night - it seemed such a short time ago you did that interview. We've been playing BeeGees all day today and remembering you in our prayers. We hope that you can feel the support and prayers that are going up for you all around the world today.

The "Bee Gees" a legend that lives on! I feel the hurt deeply in my heart for such a wonderful person and musician. I grieve with Barry and Robin and their families and with Maurice's family. "Lonely Days and Lonely Nights"-----we all will miss him as "One".

My sister Annie and I grew up falling in love with the BeeGees, Andy Gibb, and their music. They’ve always represented the highest form of respect for art and humanity. The love they shared for each other and their music was and is always apparent. My blessings, love, and deepest prayers to all of them and their loved ones.
Sandra, thanks for the heartfelt tribute.

MY PRAYERS GO OUT TOO THE GIBB FAMILY...SO SAD THAT MAURICE HAS GONE ..THE MUSIC LIVE ON FOREVER....
Alex M.

Just before our wedding in Cyprus in 1998 my husband took me to the "One Night Only" concert at London Wembley. We enjoyed it so much we have a framed picture of our tickets and programme on the wall. It was a brillant night. So sorry to hear Maurice Gibb has died but his talent will live on forever.

I'm devestated at this tragedy. I am 74 years old and have been a fan all these years. My one dream was to see the Bee Gees in concert before I died. This will never be accomplished now. Farewell Sweet Prince and flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.

I was so shocked at the untimely death of Maurice. I grew up with the BEE GEE's . He will surely be missed. He is with Gods choir. My heart is heavy today.
Sincerely,

With much love and admiration to the Gibb family Always,

Very sad to hear of Maurice's passing. Just last weekend myself and my daughter watched a program about the Bee Gee's. We wondered then what would the brothers do if one of them should pass on. I am sad to see we shall find out. The Gibb brothers including Andy represented a groups of very talented men. I feel for the family that Maurice leaves behind.
Susan L.

The words are so hard to come by today, and yet a little easier than yesturday. When I heard the news of Maurice's passing tears flowed down my face as if he were a member of my own family. Who's to say that he is not a part of each of our families. We are all hurting the same, and missing our friend. The Bee Gees are a part of all of us. No matter what your age or, your musicial preference is. It can not be helped. Everyone in this world at one time or another has listened to one of the Bee Gees wonderful songs and has loved it. Without a doubt Maurice will be missed not only by his wife and family, but also by the many people who's lives he has touched without even knowing them. Thank You for this heart warming tribute. God Bless You All.
Always remember you're never alone.

Thank you for putting up the site for Brother Gibb. He, along with Barry, and Robin, and Andy of course, gave us all of those beautiful ballads in the 60's and then made Disco cool in the 70's, and the work they have done since then continues to inspire. It's only words, but words are not enough to tell you how I feel....
My thoughts are prayers are with the Gibb family.

This is the first opportunity I've add to add my thoughts on the sudden loss of someone who always seemed to add to our lives. So many times we don't realize the depths of our feelings until a time like this. The important times in my life were reflected in the beautiful music these talentd men gave us. There are no "Words" adequate enough. My sympathies go out to all his family. We will see Maurice again some day.
Peace and Love

What a wonderful place to leave thoughts about Maurice. I've been a fan since I was about 10 and will always place their wonderful music. How sad I am today everytime I think about this tragedy. Maurice was truly a shining star. God must have needed his voice in heaven now. I can't make any other sense out of all of this. He will be missed just like we still miss Andy.

The BeeGees music provided me with years of joy and the death of Maurice Gibb has left me feeling as if part of my body has been cut away, bleeding and mortally wounded. What nust his family be feeling. My heart goes out to them.

I am so sorry for your loss. Please accept my sympathy. Maurice, Robin & Barry hold a wonderful place in music history. The beautiful music these men created helped unify the races In America. At a young age I was introduced to your magnificent work that you and your brothers engineered. Your music has brought me through good and bad times. I will never forget the contribution that you have made to the music industry and my personal life. I am a musician and you are one of the top inspirational models that I have looked up to for many years. I know that you are in peace with your younger brother Andy. The two of you shall make your own music in a far more wonderful place, until the Lord calls Robin and Barry home to reunite four of the best musicians that ever lived. I will miss you Maurice. God bless you and your Family!

I grew up with the Bee Gee's music! My husband and I both have fond memories of listening to the Bee Gee's when we were in high school. I was just watching "Staying Alive" the other night and listening to Bee Gee's music....it will be music people will be able to enjoy forever. I always get such a great feeling when I listen to the Bee Gee's! My prayers go out to Maurice's family, especially to Barry and Robin. I was shocked when I heard of his death this morning, he was young and still had so much to give! Very sad! What a wonderful legacy he has left!

Thank you for this page where all may express our feelings at this time of sorrow and hopefully the family of the Gibb's will receive them. It is as though a friend has died because all through my life the Bee Gee's have been there for me. When I needed a sad song to help me work through grief they were there, or if I wanted a happy song to share my joy they were there as well. For 3 people to make such a contribution to people of all ages and in so many countries and all social status' it never made a difference. Maurice, you succeeded in your goals,

hey there, just wanted to extend my sympathy to the fans and most importantly to the brothers Gibb, im only 16 but my family has followed them like religon, they almost feel like they are apart of my family because we are so involved with them.... I to like many others cannot beleive that he is gone, because the beegees are not a trio, they are one. he is apart of that one and they will always carry that with him. Thank you maurice for giving us your music and most of all your loveable character.
Love,

I mourn for the Gibb family with deepest sorrow!! What Joy their music has given me over the years!
May God Bless You Abundantly, Now and Forever!

Thank you so much for creating a site where we can express our feelings about the lost of a great musician and a person as well. I´m not a God believer, but I think that if there's another sort of life somewhere, Maurice along with Andy, will continue his work by making that wonderful music that the Bee Gees have given us for so many years. I´m a musician myself and I perform cover songs in clubs and bars in my home city, so I' ve decided to sing at my next gig, a whole set of Bee Gees songs as my tribute to Maurice, and also will tell the audience about the lost of such a great artist.
Today's world is so full of evil people such as terrorists, religious fanatics, drug dealers, corrupted politicians etc, that I wonder why good people like Maurice should deserve to die, instead of those who cause so much pain and suffering to the entire human race. It's just so unfair and makes me feel even more saddened of Maurice lost. As a Bee Gees fan, I'd like to share my thoughts with anybody out there who consider himsel a real B's G's fan too, and of course to the Gibb family my best wishes of comfort and think, you are not alone, I'm pretty sure that millions of people around the world are mourning Maurice in their hearts right now and he won't be forgotten. I can imagine how big is the pain that you Robin and Barry are feeling in your hearts at this moment, but my message for you guys is to continue working in your music and givin' it to the world,

the Bee Gees will be here forever !!

The very first record I bought (choosing myself) was Odessa. I was only eleven and I started appreciatting Bee Gee's music. I grew old with their music. I can't believe that people we love can die. This loss is very sad such as Andy's was. I hope Bee Gees never die. I've been very lucky, in 1997, seeing the show at Boca Juniors Stadium. I'll never forget that image neither the Bee Gees. If you can reach Barry or Robin, pls tell them that Argentina and their fans will always accompany them.
With love,

Thank you for this web-site where mourners can speak their piece. The Bee Gees have been a part of my life since I was 2 (now 37). I was shocked and sadded to hear this great man has gone from us. The world loves a clown and that's how I felt about Maurice! I hope that his family (esp. Barry & Robin) in the fact that he is now in the company of Andy and Hugh (their father). He is not alone. And he is no longer in pain. If they seek the comfort of God, He will give them strength to get through this. I know because I've been there. My heart goes out to them.

Thank you for such a beautiful, touching tribute to a great talent. I've been a fan for 33 years and it comes as a great shock! I thank the good Lord that I've had many opportunities to meet Mo and his brothers. I lived in Miami for awhile and he was always so wonderful to his fans. I will treasure all of the pictures I have of him along with the two of us together. I thank the good Lord as well that I've had the wonderful experience of their concerts which I've attended. Thank you again and God bless.

My deepest thoughts go to the Gibb family. I lived today, watching everybody around me, thinking that "life goes on". It's right. It is such a shame. I can hardly believe Maurice passed away at that age ! I grew up listening to the Bee Gees music and I see a bit of myself in these messages from all the fans. I was 15 when I discovered "Saturday Night Fever". Maurice was part of me, my life. It is so sad.

Thankyou for allowing us to grieve publicly for dear Maurice.
Like George Harrison, Maurice was the quiet member of his group in terms of lyrics and lead vocals and yet played such an integral part in it all. I only have to hear the beginnings of You Should Be Dancing, You Win Again and This Is Where I Came In (all on different instruments) to remember this.
Every time I go to a Weight Watchers meeting to shed my 7-stone extra I think of Maurice and his accountability to AA even after completing their program. As in his case it is helping not only my weight but my relationships with loved ones. Thankyou Maurice for your example.
My special love to Barbara Gibb at this time - no mother should have to lose two of her children in her life. Please know that a lot of Gibb fans around the world, though they may never have met you, have special love for you at this time and would comfort you in your sorrow. You are a dear lady and don't deserve this pain. God bless you at this time.
My warm condolences to all the Gibbs

My thoughts, love and prayers are with Yvonne and the children, also Barry and Robin. " How can you mend a broken heart" I am broken hearted, we have lost a very nice guy and an extremely talented singer and musician. The Bee Gee's will not be the same without him, but I know that he will always be influencing Barry and Robin to carry on the excellent work that they have produced for the last 40 years. May you rest in peace Mo' and play your music to all in heaven. Their gain is our loss.

Love you Maurice!
Here is a fan of Bee Gees sitting in another part of the world.
My all time favourite music group is Bee Gees. I grew up listening to their music. Bee Gees make me dancing, protect me from melancholy mood. I collect 6-7 individual albums & also all the 'Best of' collections as well as 2 live shows in DVD. All of them are very hard to collect here in Bangladesh but somehow I manage them. I always recon Maurice Gibb as talented as his elder brother Barry Gibb. Moreover, his individual songs like "Closer Than Close","Man in the Middle" & "Walking on Air" are my favourite as much as any other Bee Gees hit. I watch the "A & E- Live by request" show" "One for All Tour" and "One Night Only"- again & again. It's very shocking to hear him pass away. I feel very sorry for his family, friends & of course- for two B Gs. Maurice, here's a fan of you tributes you from very very far distance.
I love you & I love the Bee Gees.

My name is Steve and I've been a BeeGee fan since 1966. Being one of three brothers sort of made the Bee Gees a family favorite. Like you I am in shock. 53 and dying. It can't happen, can it? Is this a nightmare? Well I want to wake up. I know the Bee Gees will continue, but Mo was my favorite and he will be missed. Thanks for the beautiful tribute.
Steve

While watching last nights 10pm newscast, the reporter came upon the story of Maurice's tragic death in Miami, I almost feel off of our couch. My wife looked at me and I at her, completely spellbound, I said "Oh my God. This is so terrible, it can't be true." It is however, and our hearts go out to the brothers, their families and Maurice's as well. What a wonderful sound they made together, I will treasure the recordings I currently have even more now. Hopefully Maurice will be able to continue making beautiful music in Heaven. On New Years night (this year), our public broadcasting station here in Gulf Breeze Florida, aired their concert in Las Vegas, "One Night Only" I am only so happy to say, I recorded every minute of it, and will keep it forever.
May God bless and keep him forever-

What a wonderfully kind and generous thing you have done by setting up this website so many of us can grieve and share our feelings. I fell in love with the Bee Gees when I was around 9 or 10 years old. I am a musician myself and I could hear their beautiful harmonies and I just knew right away that this was no ordinary rock band. These three gentlemen had superior musical talent. I am so shocked and saddened by the death of Maurice. Many condolences to his brothers, Barry and Robin, to his whole family and all the fans who consider their music sacred.

I now know how my mother felt when the singers of her generation started passing away. Music is the backdrop to so many of our life's experiences. You always remember what was playing during your 'teen' years. The BeeGees WERE my teen years. We laughed about it sometimes and listened to harder rock for awhile, but always stayed BeeGee's fans. We now leave the radio tuned to a BeeGees hit and force our new 'teens' in the backseat of the car to stop and listen.........Maurice will be missed. I just recently watched a public broadcasting special of the BeeGees on television (just happened on it a few weeks ago). I'm thankful that I watched it........it was wonderful......... I feel sad.

I have never been so touched, so influenced, and in so much of what I have done in my simple little life, by the music of the Gibb brothers...all of them. I am so truly saddened by the loss of Maurice. As a huge fan of the Bee Gees and Andy Gibb during the 70's, I recall that Maurice and Andy were very close...Maurice, he's waiting there to greet you with love and warmth, even as the rest of us lost you both too soon. I will miss you, as I have missed Andy. I wish the best of my love and support to your family...

Thank you for the wonderful tribute to Maurice Gibb. I was so saddened and shocked at the news that he was sick let alone finding out he had passed. I have grown up with this music, and always felt a special bond with it. When my mother was pregnant with me in 1974 she went to see the BeeGee's in concert and said it was the first time she felt me kick and I kicked the whole time to the music. I've been in love with the music for as long as I can remember. Andy Gibb's death was devastating enough to me, and my prayers are with the Gibb family during this time of mourning. I only hope that other people got the same joy out of listening to this wonderfully written music. Maurice you will be missed.
My only solace is that Andy has a big brother to be with again.

Thanks for putting up your site. For reasons I can't seem to explain, news of Maurice's death was far more painful to me than I could have ever expected as a simple (albeit very long-time) fan of the BeeGees and their music. If you would consider it, I would very much like for you to add the attached expression to your page. Hopefully, it may bring his family and friends (known and unknown, alike) some perspective on the joy that he ... and they ... have shared with others.
Like birds in the Fall,
We answered nature's call
As we flew side by side
through all hours of eve and day.

We flew south for warmth, and north to feel the breeze.
We flew south for loving, then north to bear.
South to travel, north to return.

Apart, then together
Then together …
For all of the time that God would allow us.
Maurice,
We'll miss you.

Like you & many others, I found it so hard to believe when I read this mornings paper. May all his family & friends find peace & comfort, not only today, but for the worst of days to follow. The days when many will no longer remember. I for one will never forget Barry, Robin, Maurice or Andy for as long as I live. A part of my life now has yet anther empty space for another member of that heavenly band has yet another member. Andy take your big brother under your wing & make his journey safe .

I have been a fan of the Bee Gees since hearing my younger sister's Main Course album in the 1970's. My walls as a teenager adourned the pictures of each of them from the Spirits Having Flown Tour. There music has always been apart of my life and while watching past Bee Gee performances last night, tears sprang up as they still do when I hear John Lennon songs. I loved watching Maurice's antics on stage and his presence will always be felt when I listen to the music.
All my prayers for the family in their grief period and know he will always be watching even if you can't touch him.

The passing of Maurice Gibb is a great loss. Together with his brothers he made magic with his words and music. The Bee Gees will always inspire me. I grew up with their wonderful songs. Truly a sad day. My condolence to his family.

It has been my dream to meet Maurice Gibb in person and tell him how much I love him and appreciate his music. Now my dream will never be realized. My heart is broken to pieces, but I can take comfort in knowing that Maurice lived his dreams while he was with us. He loved his music, he had love of family and friends and countless fans, he found joy in everything he did. I will miss his beautiful voice, his incredible musical talent, his wonderful personality, his laughter, and that gorgeous smile that outshines the sun. I hope Maurice truly understood how many lives he touched with his music and with his life. And I hope he felt the love of so many people....for he was truly loved.
To Yvonne, Sam, Adam and the entire Gibb family....please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Thank you so much for sharing Maurice with us all. He touched many lives with his beautiful music and with his joy for life. God bless you all.
Goodbye Mo.....I love you and thank you.

For the last 10 years I have been listening to the Bee Gees almost every night. Maurice wrote and sang several songs for the last album that have touched my heart and helped with some of my own issues. My heart goes out to the entire Bee Gee clan and I will keep you in my prayers and thoughts. Though I will always miss you Maurice, at least you can keep Andy company now.
May you rest in peace!

I want to express my sympathy to Maurice's family. He was not only a blessed musician who shared so much with the world, but he also had a passion for playing paintball, and contributed much to a sport that so many of us love. The paintball community will miss his luminous presence.

I am in such shock about Maurice Gibb-you have no idea. I have been an avid fan for decades and still have all of their albums. It is with a tear in my eye that I send this email because I feel as if a part of my music has died. They are in my thoughts, prayers, and are on my stereo as I send this. God keep you wrapped in his arms and surround you with eternal life. You will be sorely missed. BeeGees FOREVER.....

I'm a big fan from Belgium, and I was speechless with amazement to hear the awful news of Maurice Gibb. I still can't believe it. I still hear his voice in the music that he has written together with his brothers Robin and Barry. I want to say to the hole family, but sure to his Twin-brother Robin and Barry: Accept my heartfelt sympathy. I'll give the strength from out of my thought, to go on with the beautiful music and lyrics. I'll miss him but he lives further in my heart and my soul. I saw them together in a concert, in Belgium, on the 10 th of june 1989 and nobody can take that away from me. Maurice, I'll think of you !
Rest in peace and watch over your brothers Robin and Barry.
Sincerely,

What a huge loss this is. I can’t imagine how Barry and Robin are feeling right now. Much the same, I would guess, as they felt when they lost Andy. I have no doubt that Andy and Maurice are getting to know each other again. You can’t get too much Heaven no more.

Thanks for creating a site where fans can come together to share their grief. My heartfelt sympathies go to Maurice's family. I grew up with the BeeGee's music...and have been a fan, before, during and since SNF. I was touched by the loss of Andy so young. But Maurice at 53 is still too young. What a great loss to the music industry. How fortunate we are that Maurice will live on through his music and the memories the music recalls for us.
